About the Artist
With a background in studying Fine Art, History of Art and other creative subjects, London and Essex-based freelance portrait painter, Lydia Sear, strives to capture her subjects’ character through portraiture.
Lydia looks to the contemporary styles of Freud, Hockney & Manet with her own explorative response to being an artist today. She enjoys capturing people's characters and using her artistic flair to provide our memories and fleeting moments with a lasting, emotive effect.

Lydia lives her personal life through a neurodivergent lens, which lends to a style of painting that is analytical of the subjects and their environment.

She loves nothing more than making people smile with her work.
